A Crisis, or Just Common Sense?

Do we really have to go green, or should we just use our common sense?

Everyone is talking about going “Green”, saving the planet, lets stop polluting the atmosphere, but it growing out of control. There is no crisis; the earth have been taking care if itself for millions of years, going through ices ages, and “global warming, long before we started populating the early. Our society believes it can actual control the earth; lets us be real, we can’t control hurricanes, earthquakes or tornados, and we truly believe we can control the warming of the earth? That is ridiculous!

Garbage control, energy conservation is all nonsense. We need to take control of garbage, littering, and recycling; so that we don’t have to live like freaking pigs. We cut back on garbage, it helps to eliminate excess garbage going to land fills or being packed up to be dumped twenty miles of shore, only to resurface on our shores. If there are items we can reuse, why not; it’s not going green; it very simply common senses. We can recycle in our own homes, like reusing containers from Chinese food restaurants, but that again is not going green, is conservation.

There seems to be a mistake between going green crisis and conservation.

Conserving energy has been around long before I had kids, I remember my mom telling me to shut of lights if we were not in the room. The main reason was we could not afford the electricity, but it was just the right thing to do, if your not using something shut it off. Technology will forever find a way to develop and transport energy to our homes.

Making electric cars, saves energy? NO, but it does save us from breathing in the pollutants. These pollutants are not going to go away anytime soon, whether from cars, home heating or factories; the sad part is if we live in a concentrated areas, these pollutants will have a profound negative affect on our health.

The earth is strong, and has been around for millions of years, with earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanoes. The difference between now and then is we have become somewhat abusive towards our community and ourselves. It does not seem to bother people to walk in fields of trash, with popcorn bags, candy wrappers and soda cans all about. It’s a matter of caring for our planet, picking up garbage and just utilizing the sources provided from nature more than it being a crisis and the need to go “green”!
