A Dolphin Named Shadow at Marine Park Switzerland Was Killed by a Techno Party Noise

Wildlife experts ask for a marine park in Switzerland is responsible for the death of a dolphin was eight years old. They deplore the park management that allows techno music  party played on close to breeding for two days so that makes the dolphin stress and eventually die.

As reported by the Daily Mail on Sunday, November 13, 2011, a dolphin named Shadow had been found dead after being shown the stress and chaos after the techno party. Previously, the management of marine parks in Lipperswil, Switzerland has warned that the dolphin aquarium Connyland be affected by noise techno party.

The activists claim that techno party that lasted for two days it affects Shadow’s immune system which leads to his death. The incident also sparked outrage animal lovers’ activists Germany and Switzerland who are in the aquarium when the techno party, and call it a form of cruelty to animals.

But the local Veterinary Medical Association doubted if the sound noisy techno music had been the cause of death Shadow. According to them, the show is equipped with soundproof facilities that will not interfere with hearing dolphins.

This was denied by Jurgen Ortmuller of Dolphin Protection Group and the Pope’s Swiss. He said that they have strong evidence to prove the Shadow die from the noise of techno party. Dolphins are creatures that are sensitive to noise.

Andreas Morlok, an activist animal lover say that his voice was very loud for the ears of a dolphin, is approximately equal to the sound of pneumatic drills at the highest volume. They had asked the organizers to cancel the event but to no avail.

A few days after the event, Shadow looks very nervous and could not be comforted by his coach. A few minutes later, his heart had stopped beating.

The organizers still insist they are innocent. They were then asked to do an autopsy on the corpse Shadow to ensure the cause of death.
