A relief camp for flood victims.
Apart from collecting donations at Royal Rodale they organized events the proceeds of which would go to the flood victims. A musical night was organized at the Royal Rodale which was attended by a large number of people. A play also took place at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. This play was attended by many students and so a large amount of money was collected. The volunteers put in all the effort they could to do something for the people who were suffering in those flood affected areas. They felt that it was time for the youth of Pakistan to unite and to prove that they were true Pakistanis.
Speaking to media both Amar Abaasi and Jibran Nasir pointed out that they were extremely thankful to the Imtiaz Store the volunteers and to the Royal Rodale club authorities. Jibran said “The staff of the the Royal Rodale has been extremely co-operative and helpful. “ They also said they were extremely grateful to everyone who helped in the camp, and it was because of these people that they have achieved so much success. Their mission was to collect as much donation as they could and so far have been successful in raising upto Rs 1.6 million and in feeding 2500 families in less then 3 weeks As the saying goes “Where there is a will, there is a way. These two young students were committed to do something for their nation and so far have achieved what they wanted to.
