African Children Fighting in War
African children fighting in places like Sierra Leone is wrong.
You are sitting in a classroom, in the heart of an African village surrounded by your affectionate teacher, and your friends that you have known for years. You are glancing out the window into the beautiful rain forests of Africa, with the warming sun shining through the window.
The tranquility is minced as you hear desperate screams coming from throughout the village that you once knew as your dwelling. You instinctively look up to try to figure out what all the chaos is about, when you are knocked unconscious, for absolutely no reason. When you awaken, and the dust settles down, you see your friends on then ground critically injured, and some even killed. You are dragged away from the village, knowing that you may by no means see your friends or family again.
This is what is happening to hundreds of Africans every single day, and these cruel people are making innocent children fight to survive, and become young killing machines. These young Africans are loosing parts, and some even all of their educations in a place where most students can’t even conclude middle school.
It’s not fair that even when children are disbanded from war, or saved by the U.N (United Nations), they are left homeless, and some never even find their beloved parents. Children are dying at a very young age, without even getting to experience life to its fullest, and they end up with no childhood. Sending children, some of them under the age of seven to war is cruel, and erroneous.
Africans are loosing their educations, some of them are fortunate, and only loose a measurement of it, but others are loosing all of their instruction. In Africa, less than 11% of children finish school, and move onto college to outline their lives, and figure out what they want to do in the midst of their existence (The U.N Works).
Furthermore, Africa needs to build it’s self up and become more organized, but if children don’t get their full education Africa’s future will not be spontaneous, nor high-quality. Finally, if children want to grow up, they are going to need to attend some sort of school, or they will by no means be able to amount to anything in their futures. Rather the African governments think so or not, children do need some sort of education, and at least a diminutive childhood.
It’s not right to the children that once they are let free from the war that they served most of their lives in, and they end up going to camps until their parents are found, and some never find them. Even when children are detached from the brutal wars, they will by no means escape the emotional scars that they gained there. Following this subject further, when children leave these fights, they are sent to camps until their parents are found (Children’s Christians Funds).

Blood Diamond is just a reflection of what Africa is going to. Thousands of innocents children are force to join a war that is being fought for personal interest. Although is a movie it should be taken into consideration, that people are dieing hopeless. Diamonds like once said ” are the women best friend” perhaps it could be to some, but the ambition of having them can cost a child life.

I wish I could use this for my school work but it lacks details and it is far from being credible since it is based purely on your own opinion and personal experience (probably from stuff you read or the movie blood diamond).
