African Children Fighting in War
African children fighting in places like Sierra Leone is wrong.
Some are wedged in those camps for the rest of the diminutive childhood that they already face. Furthermore, when children leave the wars in Africa they are so addicted to drugs that they die, or become seriously sick shortly after removal (HRW). Drugs are given to these innocent children in battle to control them, and give them the will-power to fight. It’s not reasonable that even after all these small children have been through, when they leave the war they are left with emotional scars of the precedent, and drug addiction.
Without even getting to enjoy life and live life to its absolute fullest, these children are ending up with no childhood, and some are even paying the ultimate penalty of fatality. 27,000 children ten and under die each day and 20 % (1350) of this number is because of children fighting in wars across the humanity (Children’s Christians Funds). There are currently 300,000, innocent children suffering in war across the world and the 120,000 of them are fighting in Africa (HRW).
The children that are granted a miracle, and survive are growing up too fast, and becoming killers at ages under ten, which can be harmful to the children in their near futures. Without being able to have the benefit of life, children are dying for no imperative reason.
How would it feel to you, if you were harmfully taken out of your home before you even knew right from wrong? These children of Africa are loosing their educations because they have to fight in Africa in war, which is not fair to the children loosing the education, or to Africa, these children are Africa’s future, and if they aren’t educated then Africa’s economy will fall. Small children, that in the United States you would not even see in school yet, are dying because of fighting in wars that spread across Africa. Sending children, some of them under the age of seven to war is malicious, and erroneous, and it should not be tolerated no matter what the origin.

Blood Diamond is just a reflection of what Africa is going to. Thousands of innocents children are force to join a war that is being fought for personal interest. Although is a movie it should be taken into consideration, that people are dieing hopeless. Diamonds like once said ” are the women best friend” perhaps it could be to some, but the ambition of having them can cost a child life.

I wish I could use this for my school work but it lacks details and it is far from being credible since it is based purely on your own opinion and personal experience (probably from stuff you read or the movie blood diamond).
