Barbie and Ken Paper Choosing No Use Of Forest Indonesia.

The announcement was issued by the office of Greenpeace Southeast Asia inIndonesia, on Tuesday (10/11/2011).

“Mattel ordered the supplier to avoid wood fiber from companies known to be involvedthe destruction of forests,” said Zulfahmi, Forest Campaigner of Greenpeace Southeast Asia in the E-News Greenpeace.

Mattel’s decision was taken after thousands of people to send protest emails to Matteland millions of others saw Ken and spread the video interview. They want the remainingforests in Southeast Asia will be retained and preserved.

“This is a great result. But there is still much we must do to ensure that forests inIndonesia are not extinct and endangered animals that carry like an orangutan andSumatran tigers with him,” said Zulfahmi.
