Beer In, Brains Out

I cannot understand how alcohol is still legal in this day and age.

Drug use and drug abuse gets a lot of media attention in this day and age, but yet alcohol is only ever linked to driving when you are drunk and the dangers of driving while under the influence of alcohol. But you stroll into town on a Saturday night and it’s like being on the frontline in Afghanistan. There are groups of men and woman hurling abuse at each other. Then the police are called and that causes even more chaos. This country has been taken over by alcohol.

I was woken up the other morning at 4 am by an intruder rummaging through my drawers and when i called the police, even though the intruder was still in my home, an officer turned up at 10 am. My suspicions were there were no available officers as it was the early hours of Sunday morning and all officers were too busy policing the town, So I did ask the attending officer and he confirmed my suspicions.

Police say they are cracking down on under-age drinkers but you go into any park at night and there will be a group of youths there drinking, acting thuggish, littering, and just being rowdy.
When do you ever hear of a sane, sober person, lying in the middle of a busy road stopping all oncoming vehicles.

Or a sane sober person challenging a sign post to a fight but waiting for it to throw the first punch?

There just a couple of examples of things I have seen on a way to the take away on the high street on a Friday night.

The government needs to crack down more on alcohol abuse, Then they will save money on policing, Money on NHS services, and there will be more room in jails to lock up the people that deserve locking up.
