Beyond the walls of conformity

Have you ever wondered why it seams there are more outrageous actions in the news these days than that of days, and years past? Don’t get me wrong we have seen some travesties in the past thirty years; some really egregious things, but it seams these days are much more impetuous than those of the past. Did these abominable things just pop up & start happening one day as we slept comfortable in our warm bed of conformity? Have we as human beings relied upon our oldest instinct for survival; that being adaptation?

Can it be that we of any culture have weakened our true human instinct to learn rather than to accept everything given without question or compromise? Herded like sheep to slaughter with the false internal comfort of “I caved the last time & it didn’t really hurt too bad. It was an inconvenience but I can accept it because I was ‘told’ it was for the best.” by our shepherds? Just because a duck doesn’t quack doesn’t mean it isn’t a duck!

There are now, have been in the past, and will continue to be throughout eternity; as long as there is mankind, somewhere in the far reaches of his or her instinct lies the urge to stop “wondering” and begin “wandering” off the path of acceptance into the great unknown to achieve the truth beyond the walls of conformity.
