Boycott GMA Seven Included on Facebook’s Top Picbadges
Giant Television Network GMA seven may have been deaf for a cry of boycott, but the protest against them is clearly seen.
Manila Philippines - A picbadge used to boycott a giant television network in the Philippines is among those listed as one of the top picbadges in the country. Garnering 4,839 supporters, Benedict Abulencia’s design for a call to boycott GMA 7 can now be seen on the page of Hot PicBadges – Worldwide http://www.picbadges.com/ .
According to the News Blog, Less Traveled Road of MCGI (Members Church of God International) more popularly known for its radio and television program , Ang Dating Daan, the use of Facebook and Twitter as callsites for another round of boycott on August 7, 2011 was in response to the heap of lies shown through the help of a giant TV Network. Facebook and Twitter accounts of people who supports this boycott are colored with protest GMANews picbadges. Tweets and messages about GMANews’ fraudulent News activities were circulated through the world wide web.
Picbadges started on July 2011 for causes. A picbadge in support for a boycott is rare. Perhaps, this may be the only picbadge for boycott in the world as of today.
“Thanks be to God for the opportunity to be a humble part of this campaign against unfair and biased journalism, and more importantly, in the name of justice for God’s people…” says the picbadge designer.
