You know, we all complain about Wal~mart and how they are putting everyone else out of business. Well, let’s do something about it. I already have. I don’t shop there anymore. I shop at K-Mart where lay-a-way is available, Big Lots where I can buy food (which is good stuff), home decor, household items, stationary, etc. I also shop the Dollar Tree stores, Ollie’s, Dollar General, Family Dollar, and anywhere there is layaway. I also shop grocery stores like Aldi’s, P&C, Price Chopper or whereever the deals are. Do I spend more in gas? Yes but I am saving more in groceries by shopping the smaller stores. Do I need Wal~mart? No and neither do you. Go out and find these other places like TJ Max, Marshall’s , Burlington Coat Factory. These places have brand names for less and some also offer lay-a-way. So, go ahead and boycott Wal~Mart. I did!

But you did\’t present enough information on your reasoning to do so. I don’t see it always as apparent that someone will go out of business just because they are present.

The reasons being are I used to work for Wal~mart and know how they treat their employees, they do not offer lay-a-way anymore, they think it is ok for their employees to go to other stores and comparison shop but, God forbid someone do it at Wal-mart. If they do they will be arrested for trespassing. And a whole bunch of other things.
I just wanted to show people they have choices because people always say they have to shop at Wal-mart because there is no other place.
