Can We Save Our Earth?

Our Earth is the one we live in. What would happen if we were destroying it, like we are now?

Scientific analysis shows that the Earth is increasing in temperature. Why? Because we’re destroying it. Modern-day appliances all use electricity, which is produced by fossil fuels. These fuels existed as life millions of years ago, and are not replenishable. These fuels have an emission of CO2, or carbon dioxide. This harmful gas traps sunlight and warmth in Earth’s atmosphere, thus warming the planet. This is referred to as the Greenhouse Effect. With Scientific studies, most scientists can agree that Earth could potentially change forever, even in just 100 years. In 50 years, most of Florida would sink. By the time the 100 year point comes, most of the world’s land will be uninhabitable, or unable to be lived in. So, how can we stop it? Fortunately, we can cut down on our carbon emissions. Just decreasing them can cause a change of temperature within 50 years. Also, scientists are inventing new ideas for protection, such as sun shields. With these resources, we can make the Earth a more enjoyable place to live in, the place we call home.
