Going for convenient packaging is not at all convenient. The sad truth about it is that it is harmful to the environment. While we are into those packaging materials, we have to consider as well that it is environmentally friendly. Plastic is harmful to our earth. It is better if we use recyclable materials. This can be an alternative to conventional corrosion inhibiting packaging.

In reality, Americans use annually nearly 12 million barrels of oil to make plastic shopping bags. And this is not safe for our environment. We need to go for what is good for our earth. I know it can be harder, but if we truly care for our surroundings, we would do this. The convenience of packaging is not at all convenient for our dear earth. In fact if we purchase products from companies that is in promotion of our environment, it is not only the products that are being protected, at the same time you are protecting the environment.

We are concern about the increasing amount of petroleum-based, non-degradable packaging materials that were being used around the world. Instead of using such, we should start opting for environmentally-friendly, recycled, biodegradable packaging alternatives. This is to preserve the earth for future generations. Remember, the earth is not only for us. It is for everyone, for our children and for the future generation.

Using an environmentally-friendly packaging materials help reduce our dependence on foreign oil. It reduces global warming and aids in reducing greenhouse gases. Additionally, it shows how much we are just concern about the world we live in.

It is often suggested that we use only 100 percent recycled paper. We can print on this both sides. It is eco-friendly that way. We should stop using disposable plastic water bottles because it is harmful to our environment. I know when we buy our coffee, we use disposable Styrofoam coffee cups from our offices. We should start eliminating them. There are other means that would care for our environment and we can still enjoy our coffee.

There are different ideas and means to protect the environment for the future generation to use. We should think of them and not ourselves only. To help reduce inconvenience to the planet we live in, we should use recycle and re-use stuff that are good for our environment.

In doing so, we should go for up-to-date, cutting edge products that are available. We should go for products that have been tested which would be environmentally-friendly. If we are committed to protecting our environment, then this should be on our list.

Going for the alternative proves that we want a cleaner, healthier earth, and it proves our desire to preserve its beauty for our children. We should not stop from continuing to search for ways and means to have products that would protect our earth. In fact there are companies that would offer such products. That is the trend now. We do not neglect our earth. We continuously support it and protect it. After all, this is where we live in. All of us will benefit from it.
