Don’t Waste Your Clicks, Donate Them!

by BC Doan in Activism, October 8, 2007

Donate your clicks daily to these wonderful non-profit organizations.

If you want to help all these web sites or maybe just a few a days, then there is one thing to do: “click them.” You do not have to spend a penny, but your contributions mean so much to the world around us. These web sites are all organizations with good causes. Just one click a day and your help for these non-profit associations can feed the hungers, clothed the naked, save lives, and preserve our own earth.

Below are the web sites that I support. They are randomly selected. Each one of them has their own uniqueness. If you can find more, add them to your to do list. We should all try our best in support them. What is best about it: they cost you nothing!

  1. The Rain Forest Site

Your daily click helps the purchase of rain forest land all over the world, since it is the most an ancient and complex ecosystem.

  2. The Breast Cancer Site

You are contributing with your click to give free mammogram. There are many people who have no health insurance or in need of help to get mammogram exams.
For the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I urge you to click every day on this site, because they will get 150 additional mammograms, with 500 clicks.

  3. The Hunger Site

Give food with your daily click. Three-fourths of the deaths people are children under the age of five. Can you image that?

  4. The Child Health Site

This site promotes health awareness as well as prevention, and treatment to every day childhood illness.

  5. The Literacy Site

Your click donates books to children in need around the world. This site is updated every 10 minutes to let you see that your clicks are so important in supporting literacy.

  6. The Animal Rescue Site

Your click will give free food and care to animals. There are more than 27 million unwanted animals living in the shelters, and 10 million of them will be put to death every year.

There are so many good things we can do with just one click. Support these web sites. Not only that they won’t cost you a penny, you are doing good deeds for many excellent causes. Shop their sites if you want to further support them, or just send an e-card to promote them. Check them out; I am sure you will see they are worth your daily clicks.

Remember though, October is breast cancer awareness month, make sure you donate your click to this site every day.

WOW! I didn’t know anything about this, thanks, Icy!
There are so many worthwhile causes out there…my tender spot is for the unwanted animals. All they ask for is our love and protection…
As for the breast cancer site…I echo your request for help…I am a cancer survivor and know the terror of hearing those horrible little words “You have cancer”. Don’t let it happen to yourself or anyone you love…get checked out.

This is a really great idea, and I’m sure it will help many non-profit organizations. How can a non-profit sign up for this in hopes that people will contribute to their cause?

To The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen,

I really don’t know how the process goes! Maybe you could get in touch with one of these sites and see how you can link to it.

I have seen these sites on many blogs across the world, and people do click on them daily!
