Endurance Bike Ride for Charity

An endurance bike ride raising money for Notts crisis centre.

On 2 July 2011 Tony Hill will be attempting an endurance bike ride to raise money for Nottingham rape crisis centre. The plan is to ride a bike from Nottingham to the east coast, back through Mansfield to the West Coast in Wales and  back to Nottingham. A total of over 400 miles. completing the circuit is not the aim of this event, the aim is to keep going for as long as possible without stopping. That means no sleep, no rest, no food and no water apart from what can be eaten and drunk on a bike. Tony wants to see how far he can push his body and how long he can carry on enduring physical and mental stress and pain of riding a bike constantly night and day. There will be a supports car to help him so when he finally falls we can take in home or to the hospital! Every penny raised will go direct to Nottingham rape crisis centre that helps hundreds of women every year deal with the horrors of abuse. Please take a look at the site www.justgiving.com/challenge1 and let everybody know exactly what he is doing to raise money for a brilliant charity that needs every penny possible
