As a society we continue to close our eyes and ears to late term abortion. We look past the murders that are committed everyday. We bury our heads and hide behind the “It’s a woman’s right to chose” ideals. We close our ears and walk away from the “When does life begin” debate.

Any woman who has even carried a child to full term knows life begins long before birth. How can any woman deny her child is alive when that child kicks and turns inside the womb? The life she is carrying consumes her days long before diapers need to be changed and baths need to be given. Her life is changed, she is carrying inside her the life of another, it becomes her obligation to protect and care for that life.

Late term abortion is murder. It is murder of a child. As a society will we ever take a stand for the most innocent or will we continue to look the other way? Will we ever stop disguising the truth under the banner of women’s rights? As women, why are we not fighting to save our children, they have to face a world of evil, why do we choose to hide and pretend evil does not exists? We should not be looking the other way. We have come so far in our rights as women, yet we turn away when the most innocent rights are being taken away.

As women we need to start mourning our children who have been lost to late term abortion. We need to start taking a stand and stop fearing; you will not lose your right to choose by standing against late term abortion. Late term abortion has nothing to do with a women’s right to choose, it is about a child’s right to life, an innocent child that is completely dependent on us as women.
