It is thought that global warming is only a term for environmentalists shouting in the streets every time a huge tsunami occurs in their place. We may think that environmentalists are just crazy bastards who stopped traffic and yelled at government and embassy buildings shouting protests of reforms for the government. But recently, more and more scientists strongly agree that indeed, our environment is continually destroyed.
We complained that if ever we want to buy green products in the department stores, they cost more than plastic and inorganic bags. We are also too lazy to segregate our garbage complaining that they are too dirty and might even give us ailments. In case of the newly-introduced hybrid cars.
Saving the environment doesn’t really entail a large amount. Maybe, let’s take the Europeans’ ways in taking care of their environment. Unlike them, Americans are not too sensitive in their ways. In Europe for example, they don’t consume that much energy like Americans did. During winter seasons, just simply improving your house’ structure, making it fully-insulated and sealed would save the energy that you consume from your heaters. The traditional burning of wood for a fireplace can also help. During summers, painting the house with a lighter shade would make heat dissipate. Also, lessen the use of dark-colored and thick curtains. In this way, air will flow freely in your interior environment.
Europeans practiced these things because their parents, schools and authorities taught lessons about the environment even they are still young. And authorities also provide sanctions for those who violate the rules for the environment.
