Global Warming, Please be Aware of The Facts
A short article exposing the myth about humans causing global warming.
There are few subjects that annoy me more than the one reported by our government, the IPCC and the EU as a whole, than the issue of global warming.
The facts they brandish about are in fact nothing of the sort! It was Christopher Monkton that alerted the readers of The Sunday Times about the weaknesses in the argument all those years ago. At a time when that snake oil salesman Al Gore used global warming as a ticket to preach his way into the vice presidency of the USA.
The IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) is the body set up by the EU to establish the fact that the increased levels of CO2 being emitted into the atmosphere by human activity is driving the planet into global warming. It is the vehicle being used by governments to hit us around the head with. They expect to frighten us into paying more tax and always quote from it when they proliferate the ‘irreversible consequences’ of global warming that will drive us all over the edge by 2050.
With what I now know, I can only look down at those perpetrating this nonsense (or non-science) with disdain and some contempt.
Where do I start?
Well at the beginning I suppose, and with the voluminous report the IPCC commissioned from various individuals when it was set up by the EU in 1988.
It should be enough for me to point out that the report concentrated on CO2 and conveniently ignored most of the other factors that any scientific study would include.
One such example ignored is clouds, it is well known that clouds reflect 60% of solar radiation. The IPCC obviously don’t do clouds because there is no mention of how they affect the climate. It would only take a decrease of cloudiness by 1% worldwide to account for the whole of the 20th century warming.
Another such example, also mostly ignored by the said reports, is the effects on climate change caused by the Sun. Somebody once said ‘When looking for reasons and causes there is often no need to go further than the obvious’.
The other factors that effect climate and therefore deserve scientific assessments and contribution are numerous, that they too have almost wholly been ignored or excluded from the said IPCC reports include: Astronomy, geology, solar physics, sedimentlogy, tectonics, glaciology, climatology, meteorology, oceanography, archaeology and history, to name a few. Each of these specialist areas has a contribution to make and a part to play in any study of climate change.
One lie expounded by the IPCC was the infamous hockey-stick effect. Now even the IPCC are embarrassed about how this ‘effect’ and their manipulation of the facts have been publicly exposed, to such an extent that they have dropped it all together in their present charts and literature.
The climatic graphs now include the previously excluded medieval warming and mini ice age periods, which were excluded previously to allow them show a ‘hockey stick’ shape (with all the warming statistics rising at one end) to help their cause. One other reason these were both left out is obvious, as with these facts in the detail proof that global warming is a natural phenomena stares you in the face.
Yes one simple fact was that during the Middle Ages (900–1800 AD) Earth was some 2 degrees centigrade hotter than at present. This time is known as the medieval warming period, at a time when little or no CO2 was being emitted by humans.
The only reason the IPCC was set up in the first place was related to environmental activism and opportunity politics and that it is completely unrelated to any scientific process. Why? Well governments like to assert their control over the populations they are employed to serve. Few in the political elite speak the truth and care to give it to us from the hip like it really is.
However such people do exist, one is Dr. Vaclav Klaus (President of the European Union in 2009) He supports the truth and is a contributor to the excellent book Heaven and Earth written by Ian Plimer from which I acknowledge and whom I thank for some of the above facts I’ve used here.
Thank god for them and the few other professionals out there like them that really know what they are doing.
