He can understand that most people would think that the age would cripple him. That they all probably figure a gray headed old man, who is not in good shape, must park himself in front of his TV spending a lot of money just watching cable or satellite Television. At least the real high gasoline prices have been real healthy for him. It has helped him avoid being doomed that way on any couch. It saves a lot of money to skip burning any gas that has ethanol added to it and just get where needed on foot. If gas still only cost what it had, while he was in his twenties, one would get over weight lazily driving around to do chores. Shouldn’t one get physically fit to save some money?

That hazard is so harsh he can remember that some airports tended to inspect some of the fuel before it gets unloaded. He had even made a delivery once where regular unloaded got put into the below ground tank holding premium. That makes him remember how bad gasoline gets contaminated when some water leaks through the gas cap into the tank. These bits of memory have made him believe that adding ethanol into gasoline makes it burn just like contaminated fuel. That makes him declare the gasoline prices healthy when they force people to purchase less fuel. The lack of driving around will allow their car to last a lot longer and keep their wallet from being drained while purchasing a new one.
