How to Make Recycled Warhammers/maces

How to make recycled maces/warhammer out of materials that you can find in a recycling bin!

Materials&Tools:

  • 250 plastic grocery bags
  • 10 pages of newspaper
  • Paint Stripper
  • Scissors
  • A tin can (the bigger the better but it has to be metal)

Procedure of Creation:

  1. Lay the newspapers on top of each other.
  2. Cut off the last 4 inches of the newspapers.
  3. Now roll up the newspapers as tightly as possible so that you make a newspaper rod with little to no hole in the middle.
  4. Now put the grocery bags into the tin can and melt the grocery bags with the paint drier (put it onto high) while they are inside of the tin can.
  5. Continue adding and melting grocery bags into the tin can until it is .5 inches away from overflowing with molten plastic.
  6. Then put the rod of newspapers into the middle of the tin can and push it into the bottom to that you have a mace like thing.
  7. Next wrap the part of the rod that isn’t stuck in melted plastic with a plastic bag and melt the bag onto it.
  8. Now wait a few minutes for the plastic to solidify and harden.

Your warhammer/mace is now finished, and you are helping the environment in the process!
