I believe the reason we have world hunger is because of GREED! Governments everywhere own billions of acres of land, and will not allow the poor to buy it cheaply to grow their own food. The rich also own hundreds of acres each , everywhere and hoard it to brag of their wealth. I worked as a cook in a diner once and I asked the boss if I could give the left overs being thrown out to the homeless. He said ,”If I did, he’d fire me.” This is how we have become hardhearted as a people. I had to throw out everything from the first shift, to put out the second shift menu. Perfectly good food was thrown away every day..It is a sin how we waste food, and neglect world hunger.Those in control of being able to help, are the ones who do not care. Their stomachs are full. What do they care, when power, control and wealth is all they care about. Good article.
