Illegal Immigration and Hazelton PA

The law against illegal immigration that was passed by Hazelton Pennsylvania.

For those in the Congress who want to see amnesty, who want to let the twelve million illegals stay and let the borders open to let the flood continue, I point to Hazelton and ask, “Where did you idiots check your brains on the way to the capitol?” Towns all over the country need relief from this scourge of lawlessness that you have brought to us. You, congress, have allowed this to go on by not insisting that the law of the land be enforced and that those who enforce it have the resources needed. You, congress have allowed this to go on so you can collect the money to finance your next election and money for your largess. You have allowed money to blind you to what this country needs, the rule of law. You have diddled with the firing of federal prosecutors like this is some big event when in fact every administration in the last fifty years has done this and most including the most recent, Bill Clinton, did it earlier in his administration and fired more of the prosecutors. for allowing it. The message from the public was loud and clear the last time you tried to push a bill that was trash on us. Many of you blamed talk radio but I know people who don’t listen to talk radio, people who are far from conservative, people who are thinkers, who opposed that piece of crap.

But let us look at this from another angle. If the Hazelton law is unconstitutional and I do believe it is, then someone who attempts to prevent federal immigration officials from doing their duty are just as wrong and should be enjoined from continuing their practice, by arrest and imprisonment if necessary. Those giving sanctuary and support to illegals is in fact interfering with the federal immigration policy. If Hazelton is wrong, so are they.

Many of these are guilty of violation of federal conspiracy charges and conspiring to violate federal law is as serious a crime as violating the law. Anything that is done to help illegals come here, stay, avoid deportation, obtain forged documents, or in any way elude detection is guilty of that charge.

The president needs to give orders to the federal prosecutors to ferret out those who would frustrate the law, aid illegals or give sanctuary, to seek their arrest and speedy conviction. Immigration needs to close the border, to locate those who break the law by coming here illegally after the beginning of the enforcement or commit crimes while here and prosecute and deport them. I believe in a way Hazelton may point the way to begin to solve the problem. Mayor, my hat is off to you for having the fortitude and zeal to take on the assorted rabble that is making this situation worse.
