There are many charities who are suffering during the financial crisis. They are around the world and need funds. Unfortunately not all of us have spare cash lying around, and cannot give as we would like. So the next time you are considering a Tshirt or bag, or a new mug, forget the designer must have and treat yourself to something from the many on-line charity stores.

FREE RICE is a wonderful place to start. It has a word quiz for you to play and for each answer you get right, they donate rice. Go and learn so they earn!

The Pink Breast Cancer shop is a  popular store, if you cannot afford to buy anything, think about fund-raising.

The on-line shop for the UK .By clicking on button on this link US you can assist fund-raising for free Mammograms in the USA. It costs nothing.

Help raise funds for FREE BOOKS for the under privileged around the world. As writers we owe it to ourselves to keep books alive.

Do you like playing chess? Well consider volunteering your services to The Knights Alzheimer’s Prevention Charity. It teaches OAP’s to play, it has been found to be a great preventative.

Other charities to consider:

 ShopAutism.com (US based)

Orphans Aid International (New Zealand based)

Lifeline (Australia)

Philippine Charity Sweepstake

XFactor 2009: Every year the UK X factor stars sing for a charity. The 2009 CD is available now, for each one sold £1 goes to Great Ormand Street Hospital in the UK. (See Video)

A Broader View Volunteers  (Volunteers Abroad)show you what they do around the world.

Is 2010 you change the life of a stranger?

Consider the Orphans of Romania

Follow in the footsteps of Prince William and show the world the plight of others.

Everyone should do it…as it says in the sone, ‘birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it…’ but they don’t say what. Maybe this answers the question. LOL
