Love for Lexi

Please find it in your heart to look in here and help save a little girl!

UPDATE: I am sad to say that Alexis has passed away. I’m sure her family would still greatly appreciate your support. Please keep them in your prayers.

I was on my Myspace page and happened to look at Gil Birmingham’s blog. If you don’t know who Gil Birmingham is, he is an actor that has been in many movies, including the Twilight Saga. Anyway, in his blog I discovered this wonderful fundraiser for a little girl who is badly in need.

Her name is Alexis Saucedo, and she is only 4 years old. Lexi has been diagnosed with Glioma, a very serious form of cancer in the brain stem. But in Lexi’s case, surgery is not an option.  She is currently undergoing radiation therapy and chemotherapy. In the past few years, family, friends and even strangers, have pitched in to help support her family during these very difficult emotional and financial times.
Gil Birmingham will be attending a fundraiser for Lexi on November 6th , and has donated items for the auction.  The event is sold out, but there is still a way for you to help. The organization is called “Love for Lexi” and has been founded to help Lexi and her family with all her overwhelming medical bills.  She is a very special little girl and she really needs your help. Please find it in your heart to participate in any way you can!
If you wish to make a donation to Lexi and her family, you can do so by sending a check of any amount to:

     Love for Lexi
     12949 7th Street
     Chino, California 91710

Please make checks payable to: The Alexis Saucedo Donation Fund (Tax ID: 26-3927532)

No amount is too small! Every little bit helps, and it will be greatly appreciated! All of the proceeds will go directly to Lexi and her family.
If you would like more information, they have started a website that you can visit at www.loveforlexi.org.
