Michael Vick Walks

Michael Vick’s release doesn’t mean he’s free only going home.  And just because he’s home doesn’t mean he’ll stay there for long. 

I’ve noted that he is going to work at a local humane society, trying to prevent abuse of animals, dogs in particular.  That is all well and good but I can tell you this; if he’d care about dogs before he wouldn’t be in this mess.  No, I believe that going to work serves only one purpose… to get out of the confines of his house and out into the world.

As a retired parole agent I’ve seen this ploy many times.  Get out of prison, go into house-arrest, find a simple job, work a few hours and then disappear for a while before going home.  The tracing units only tell the agents that he’s gone, not where he is.

It should prove to be interesting to see just how long he actually goes before violating the terms of his release.
