Perserve The Earth: Common Sense

-describing how life is a work of art and for us to continue to be healthy and wonderfully made, we need to start by preserving our earth and keeping it in good shape. Who wants to live in a filthy world?

So, who wants to live in a filthy world? Who wants to breath in the toxins of laziness and carelessness of our people? I, for one, absolutely do not. This earth has been here for a long time no matter what you believe( evolution, creation, etc.). This means the people before us have done a great job of preserving our world and keeping it intact. With all our new technology and advancements in practically everything, why don’t we use it for a good purpose? It has been proved that there are holes in the ozone layer and we have a constant reminder of it everyday when we experience our climate changes. We also are beginning to experience overcrowded landfills, which is mostly do to the fact that the majority of society refuses to recycle and reuse. It’s also true that scientists have always began to get worked up off of major climate changes. For example: about twenty years ago scientists predicted another ice age because of dramatic dips in temperature. The thing is, weather is a reoccurring cycle we live in. It always has been a cycle and always will be. -But we cannot just sit and watch as our life passes us by?

No, we have to do something to show that we care for our earth and care enough to take notice of how we are treating it. Everything we do to our world, ultimately affects us. Every time we cut down a tree or destroy our forest, we are cutting down our oxygen supply.  We are really putting ourselves and lives in danger. Only about 15% of tyhe air we breath is oxygen and plants are a major contributor. Society is smart enough to figure out how we can avoid cutting down forests and think of a more though out plan. For example: instead of building on different lands and going horizontally, why don’t we build vertically(up). It makes sense. We have more than enough room to build up on our buildings instead of building more. Society always has the idea that more is better; its not true. Instead of being sucked into our selfish nature as humans, we should give instead of always trying to receive. Think: how can one receive when there is nothing to give? Exactly, it is not possible. This is a bountiful earth and I am positively sure that if we pull together as a whole we can make a difference. Give it a try and spread the word, our earth is worth caring for.
