Professor Klaus Lackner Finds Solution to Global Warming

Scientists have for a long time been putting their wealth of scientific knowledge together to map out strategies of averting the potentially dangerous effects of global warming. It is my feeling that being scientists, they probably know the threats of global warming more than we laymen do and I would have been utterly surprised if the men with scientific minds out there were just sitting on their laurels to leave issues of global warming to fate.
An American Geo Physicist, Professor Klaus Lackner has finally come out with a solution to the current carbon emissions and global warming problems. He has designed an extraordinary machine code named, Artificial Tree, which captures carbon and allows the same to be stashed safely away. It is believed, this ingenious invention will save the world from the destructive effects of global warming.
The world has been collectively emitting more than 30 Billion tones of carbon dioxide to our atmosphere yearly since 2006. If this is left unchecked, we may not have planet earth as a habitable place by the next century. The Artificial carbon-capturing machine is a synthetic tree construction that copies the functions of natural trees where leaves absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide absorbed in this way would then be stored safely under ground permanently.
This to me is an innovation that needs all the support the world can muster because, much as talks about alternative sources of fuel is being considered, fossil energy is still going to be around for along time. In natural conditions, tree leaves act like sinks for carbon dioxide because they absorb CO2 and utilize in the process of photosynthesis. The sad bit for us today is that we are needlessly cutting down the very trees that for centuries have maintained the equilibrium that supports life on earth.This fact alone increases the significance of this discovery.
The vision of Prof. Klaus is certainly going to offer relief to the looming pressures of global warming because according to the projected abilitites of these artificial trees a single tree is going to remove as much as 90,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year – the equivalent emissions of 20,000 cars.
This project would positively change our world, but we all know that God made the world with an intelligent design. We humans have tried to play God yet every clever thing we attempt to do remain far short of the original idea of God’s natural designed, that explains why even a plan as extraordinary as this may not after all, solve the problem beyond our generation because, how long shall we continue storing the carbon underground? How safe will the storage be?
