Reusable Cardboard Boxes
About going green, recycling, and helping save earth.
You can help save trees when you reuse cardboard boxes. If we are really protecting our environment and we continue to protect it, then we would protect each part of it. Trees are part of our environment. When we reuse the cardboard boxes, we preserve our trees as well.
When we use the cardboard, we are using the environment. In fact, we use the trees in making the cardboard. That is why it is important that we recycle paper product, and that includes cardboard boxes. With each paper that is used, we consume about seventeen (17) trees, seventy nine (79) gallons of oil, 7000 gallons of water, 42,000 kilowats of energy, sixty (60) gallons of air pollution, and three (3) cubic yards of landfill space.
Can you imagine how much of our environment is used up just to produce paper? This is the reason why we offer an alternative. We want to protect our environment. And by buying used cardboard boxes is one way of helping our environment. In fact you will save all the abovementioned consumption and save money as well. It becomes economical too for you.
We do not need to throw away all the cardboard that has been used. For an eco-friendly means, we can recycle them. Reuse them. When you reuse them, you will pay less for it from the company who sells them.
Sometimes the simple things can give us a positive impact. It becomes a brilliant idea. If only a quarter of these boxes are reused, you can just imagine just how much trees we can save.
Many people think that using cardboard box once and sending it to the traditional recycler is the most responsible way to help the environment. The process of recycling cardboard boxes requires a great deal of energy, chemicals and emissions that have their own negative impact on our environment not to mention all the trees that still have to be cut down to make new boxes. It is strongly recommended that it is better to reuse a cardboard box at least once, before it is sent to a traditional recycler. Then, you can sell them. It would be an efficient way to do, with lower prices and with higher returns.
Most of us have heard it, reduce, reuse, and recycle. These words have certainly significant meaning and putting them into action can help illustrate their purpose more clearly. One of the best ways to protect the environment is to divert waste from landfills. But there are many ways you could reuse them in your living space.
Recycling and reusing has its benefits. It helps you save money. Since old corrugated cardboard is bulky and takes up a lot of space in dumpsters, you may find it cost effective to bale or compact the material. Aside from this, it also provides you social benefits. You can donate it to charities for their use. Lastly, you can divert the material from being disposed. Yes, I know it is bulky. Keeping this material out of the waste stream will mean saving landfill space in areas where disposed materials are landfilled and reducing pollution through avoided incineration where waste is incinerated.
