Reuse and Make The World a Better Place!

Ways to reuse the stuff that you don’t need!!

If your community has a recycling program , thats very good, because its important to keep the trash away from landfills.Reusing is much better than recycling. Recycling requires energy but reusing only requires little energy only on your behalf. Here are some ways to reuse your things at home.

1) Egg carton seed pots;

punch tiny holes at the bottom of each compartment for drainage. Plant seeds  in each compartment , when big enough transplant in pots.

2)CD picture frames;    cut pictures of the right size and fit them into the cd frames. If you put doublesided magnetic tape and them you can put it on the refrigerator.

3) Plastic and glass bottles/jars ;

decorate and use these to store various things ,such as pencils ,pens,and all kinds of stationary.

4) Egg carton jewel box;

decorate the carton by colouring and painting it. Put your jewellery in it. Helps to not tangle your jewellery together.

5) Use metal cans as dustbins;

paint the can and them put a shopper in it covering all the goods surface. That way just take out the shopper when its full and put in a new one.

6)Bottles – Glass Beverage

Use old wine or beer bottles as a candle holder. The wax dripping down the sides will create a nice effect.

7)Boxes – Shoe

Use to store mementos like cards, children’s artwork.Keep to use for your kids school projects.Use them to store small toys, recipes, odds and ends, art and sewing supplies, etc.

8)Flower Pots – Small/Medium

Fill partially with sand and use as an outdoor ash tray.Use when placing flowers at a cemetery.Use small, plastic pots as scoops for pet food or potting soil.Use for making sand castles or snow forts.Use small pots as fruit-picking baskets.Keep a small pot by the dryer to collect lint.Use a medium size pot for storage of fruits and vegetables on the counter top.Use a small pot as a candy jar.Paint different colors and use to decorate around a garden.

Thanks,Hope this helps!!
