Save Our Earth

In order to save our earth, it needs deep awareness from all parties related. World’s citizen has an obligation in preserving what is left for a sustainable life to be inherited to the future.

Over a scientific observation in 1980-1999, it was predicted that by 2100 ice in the Greenland and Antarctica would melt and leave the sea level higher for about 7.2-23.6 inches (18-59 cm). The estimation was concluded if the ice flow were to increase linearly. In the long run, it could increase or decrease, depends on how the world’s citizen treatment towards the earth. If the earth abuse—in any kind of forms—increase, then it was predicted that by 2100 the sea level would increase about 19.2-31.6 inches or 48-79 cm and the temperature would rise for 1.4-5.8°C.

And a lot of new office building and society center are built vastly. Manufacturers expanding and earth resources dredged and for the reason of running the wheel of economy and pressing down unemployment rate, we are going to see more new office building, more society center, more manufacturing building, more dredgers.

Several of brands of new car were launched just recently. Targets of sales then announced and all producers aim for bigger number following their yearly sales volume target. They compete to one another to create Eco-friendly product at best performance. Yet, in the end they are striving to lead the market by proving to achieve the highest sales volume. What interesting is, in one of a national newspaper in South East Asia countries, it quoted a statement of comparison over two countries national sales volume ratio against the population. Against the population! If the target was to increase the ratio, has anyone ever counted how much carbon monoxide volume releases to the air and rip the ozone off? And this is just one economy sector. While NGO’s, scientists and some governments are thinking hard how to save our earth, many corporations are still striving to boost their market share.
