Serving in Your Community

Serving your community takes a lot of work, but if you know a lot of ways to serve your community you should have no problem. There are several ways to serve your community, such as Fundraisers, Canned Food Drives, Charities, and mostly giveaways. The best part to serve your community is Serve Learning. Service Learning is a community based non-profit organization that helps students understand what it is like to serve their communities, and it prepares them for the workforce. I know this for a fact because I have done a service Learning project and it was so much fun. It taught me that I could learn and experience new things while putting my skills to work. When you give back to your community it makes you feel good because of all of the accomplishments and goals you have done and achieved to get yourself there. Lastly, giving back to your community and serving your community will help you later in life because this will show you how appreciative you are to your community. I would say so myself!
