The Anti-war Movement’s Pro-tyranny Stand

by Benyamin Solomon in Activism, October 20, 2008

The anti-war movement supports America’s totalitarian enemies, whether they’re Islamists or Communists from Latin America.

I had an article that exposed the International Solidarity Movement as a front for Palestinian terrorism in the struggle to aid their mission of destroying Israel. I will show the “peace” movement’s ties to America’s enemies, from the Communists in Latin America to the radical Islamists.

A member group of the British “peace” group Stop the War Coalition is the Muslim Association of Britain [MAB], the British branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is the father of radical Islam, an ideology that calls for their Nazi fascist form of Islam to dominate the world. The Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Muhammad Madhi Akef said:

I have complete faith that Islam will invade Europe and America, because Islam has logic and a  mission.
The Europeans and the Americans will come into the bosom of Islam out of conviction. In 1993, I went  to America and I published a book, ‘Political Pluralism and the Woman,’ that was distributed in the  mosque. Thirty [American] women converted immediately to Islam as soon as they read it. These are  people who become convinced of the right path – but who will guide them there?

Founder of the Muslim Association of Britain Kemal Helbawy [Helbawi is obviously another member of the Muslim Brotherhood] said:

Do not take Jews and Christians as

allies, for they are allies to each other.

—–O’Brothers, the Palestinian cause is not a conflict of borders and land only. It is not even a conflict over human ideology and not over peace. Rather, it is an absolute clash of civilizations, between truth and falsehood. Between two conducts – one satanic, headed by Jews and their co-conspirators—and the other is religious, carried by Hamas, and the Islamic movement in particular and the Islamic people in general who are behind it.

* *  *

Lastly I am going to say something about Imam Hassan al-Banna, peace be upon him, who had been trying to establish 70,000 fighters. And he started with the first battalion with 10,000 fighters and today the Palestinians became strong fighting battalions, let us stand and support this great nation and the future is for Islam and I ask God’s forgiveness for you and for me and the Muslims. We ask God to give victory to our brothers and we ask God to release the leader of the Intifada, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, praise be upon him.

Hamas political leader Khaled Meshaal also spoke at that conference, immediately after Helbawy. Meshaal told the audience “… the Palestinian nation was ignited with heroic jihadi martyrdom on the Palestinian land. And the start of the blessed Intifada, which was ignited by the blessed man, the handicapped Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, is the one who caused the earth to shake from under the feet of the occupiers. Since then, the Palestinian people have shown examples of sacrifice and courage and heroism. Among the proofs are the revolution of the stones, the Molotov cocktails and the knives.”
The US didn’t allow Helbawi into the country because of his radical Islamist views. Steven Emerson, the expert on radical Islam, wrote:

In 1991, Helbawy spoke at a conference hosted by the Islamic Committee for Palestine, a front group that was headed by convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operative Sami al-Arian. Other speakers at the event include Specially Designated Terrorist and current General Secretary of PIJ, Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, the notorious Egyptian “Blind Sheikh,” Omar Abdul Rahman (spiritual leader of the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, currently serving a life prison sentence for his role in a plot to blow up New York City landmarks), and PIJ founder and spiritual leader Abdel Aziz Al Awda.
Helbawy’s radicalism and support for terrorism (and terrorists) is both longstanding and well documented. Despite his current protestations and NYU’s willful blindness, U.S. government officials are rightfully wary of his past and level of influence. The Department of Homeland Security deserves credit for keeping Helbawy, and others like him, out of the United States.

Azzam Tamini, MAB spokesperson, said in a demonstration:

Anybody in the world, with faith or without faith, must come together in order to eradicate this cancer from the body of humanity.  We are ever grateful to the late Imam Khomenei for starting this occasion. Because the world . . . must never forget al-Quds, must never forget Jerusalem. For us Muslims, Jerusalem is the mother of faith. Al-Quds is in our [argita?], Al-Quds is in our [rebota?] Al-Quds is the . . . cornerstone to our umma. Those who are prepared to sell al-Quds do not represent us, do not speak for us. Those who resist, those who fight, those who . . .jihad . . . against Zionism are the true representatives of the Palestinians, and all the Muslims regarding the Palestinian issue.Do you know why Tony Blair, George Bush, and all the members of this camp are so worried? They are worried because they know the world can see clearly today that Israel is a menace, is a threat to humanity. They can no longer fool anybody and they are worried that this spoiled baby of theirs is about to be thrown out of this human body of ours.
It is just a matter of time. You count my words and you remember these words. It is a matter of time, as they were removed from south Lebanon because of the great jihad of Hezbollah. And as they are removed from Gaza because of the great jihad of Hamas and Islamic jihad. This black chapter in the history of humanity will eventually come to an end and we say, we say we are willing to bring it to an end peacefully. But if they don’t want peace, we have another language, we have another language, and we have every right to use that language and time will tell and history will tell.

The crowd yelled Allah Ackbar [I cut and pasted and edited the quote from Little Green Footballs, which shows when the crowd yells Allah Akbar]. The demonstrators held posters of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah. They held signs that say,”End the occupation.”

The battle of Findsbury mosque was when Abu Hamza was expelled and when the mosque came under the control of the Muslim Association of Britain [MAB]. Many people consider it to be under control of “moderates.” It was a change of one group of Islamic radicals to another.

Abu Hamza publicly called for jihad on infidels and publicly expressed his radical Islamist views. He was expelled from the mosque. It was renamed to the North London mosque. The MAB placed its own members as the new body of Trustees. One of the men was Mohammed Sawalah, who had connections to Hamas.

That’s right the MAB, the British wing of the Islamo-fascist Muslim Brotherhood, is a wing of the Anti-War coalition. The Muslim Brotherhood’s two programs are the Muslim Brotherhood project and the 1991 muslim Brotherhood memo, both of which call for the destruction of the free world from within. The  Ninth Point of Departure in the Muslim Brotherhood project said:

To construct a permanent force of the Islamic dawa and support movements engaged in jihad across the Muslim world, to varying degrees and insofar as possible.
a-Elements:
To protect the dawa with the force necessary to guarantee its security at the local and international levels.
To make contact with all new movements engaged in jihad, everywhere on the planet, and with Muslim minorities, and to create links as needed to establish and support collaboration.
To maintain jihad and awakening throughout the Ummah.
b-Procedures:
To form an autonomous security force to protect the dawa and its disciples locally and worldwide.
To study movements engaged in jihad in the Muslim world, as well as among Muslim minorities, to better understand them.
c-Suggested Missions:
To build bridges between movements engaged in jihad in the Muslim world, and between Muslim minorities, and to support them insofar as possible within a framework of collaboration.

The 1991 Muslim Brotherhood memo said:

The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist
Process” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their
hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that  destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.

Hassan Al-Banna founded the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928, He wrote a radical Islamist manifesto called Jihad. He said:

”It is fard (obligatory) on us to fight with the enemies. The Imam must send a military expedition to the Dar-al-Harb every year at least once or twice, and the people must support him in this. If some of the people fulfil the obligation, the remainder are released from the obligation. If this fard kifayah (communal obligation) cannot be fulfilled by that group, then the responsibility lies with the closest adjacent group, and then the closest after that etc., and if the fard kifayah cannot be fulfilled except by all the people, it then becomes a fard ‘ayn (individual obligation), like prayer on everyone of the people. This obligation is by virtue of what He, the Almighty, said:

‘Then fight the polytheists…!”’

Al-Banna also said, ”It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated; to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

Banna also said:

“If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea… Even if we are beaten now in Palestine, we will never submit. We will never accept the Jewish state… But for politics, the Egyptian army alone, or volunteers of the Muslim Brotherhood, could have destroyed the Jews.”

Another prominent voice of the Muslim Brotherhood is Sayyid Qutb, who inspired radical Islamist terrorists such as Osama Bin ladin and Ayman Al-Zawhiri.  Qutb wrote in the book Milestones:

Islam knows only two kinds of societies, the Islamic and the jahili. The Islamic society is that which follows Islam in belief and ways of worship, in law and organization, in morals and manners. The jahili society is that which does not follow Islam and in which neither the Islamic belief and concepts, nor Islamic values or standards, Islamic laws and regulations, or Islamic morals and manners are cared for.

The Islamic society is not one in which people call themselves ‘Muslims’ but in which the Islamic law has no status, even though prayer, fasting and Hajj are regularly observed; and the Islamic society is not one in which people invent their own version of Islam, other than what God and His Messenger-peace be on him-have prescribed and explained, and call it, for example, ‘progressive Islam’.

Jahili society appears in various forms, all of them ignorant of the Divine guidance.

Jahili is what Muslims refer to as the period of “ignorance” in Arabia, the time before Muhammad and his message.

Quth also said in the book Milestones:

But this is not the case with Islam, as Islam is the way of life ordained by God for all mankind, and this way establishes the Lordship of God alone-that is, the sovereignty of God – and orders practical life in all its daily details. Jihaad in Islam is simply a name for striving to make this system of life dominant in the world. As far as belief is concerned, it clearly depends upon personal opinion, under the protection of a general system in which all obstacles to freedom of personal belief have been removed. Clearly this is an entirely different matter and throws a completely new light on the Islamic Jihaad.

Qutb came to Egypt after his visit to America, in which he hated for its materialism. He joined the Muslim Brotherhood and wrote an anti-semitic book called Our Struggle with the Jews. He said that the Jews employed “machinations and double dealings which discomfited the Early Muslims… The Jews continue — through their wickedness and double-dealing — to lead this (Muslim) community away from its religion and to alienate it from its Koran.” Qutb was executed in Egypt in 1966.

Yet the British faction of this Islamo-fascist movement is a member group of the Anti-War coalition.

Stop the War Coalition has a petition to stop an attack on Iran. The petition said:

We the undersigned call on the government to actively oppose plans for an attack on Iran.
We believe that any attack on Iran would be a disaster for the ordinary people of that country and would massively increase instability across the Middle East and beyond.
In the event of escalation towards an attack we pledge to join a national campaign of action and civil disobedience, including city and town centre sitdowns, work stoppages and college and school walkouts.
We also pledge on the day of any attack to join lunchtime protests and walkouts in workplaces, schools and colleges and mobilise for local protests in towns and cities across the country.

lran’s goal is to Islamize the world. Supreme leader of Iran Ali Khamenei told Jose Maria Aznar in 2001 that he seeks to eliminate Israel and America. He told Aznar that Iran’s goal is to “set Israel on fire.”

A book has been made called Al-jihad based on Ali Khamenei’s radical Islamist beliefs. It calls for global jihad on infidels.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Islam will conquer the mountain tops of the world and that the Iranian revolution is “global.”

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad kept threatening to wipe Israel off the map and denies that the holocaust happened. Ayatollah Khomeini, the first Supreme leader said, ”Establishing the Islamic state world-wide belong to the great goals of the revolution.” He also said, “We will export our revolution throughout the world, and must abandon all idea of not doing so, for not only does Islam refuse to recognize any difference between Muslim countries, it is the champion of all oppressed people.” He also said, “We are at war with infidels. Jihad must triumph.”

Hishami Rafsanjani, the so-called moderate, said that it’s not irrational to contemplate a nuclear attack on Israel. Iran sponsors demonstrations calling for the death of America and the death of Israel, even bringing missiles that says that.

Iran promotes martyrdom and supports radical Islamist terorrist grousps such as Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Quada and Islamic Jihad. According to Hezbollah deputy Naim Qassem, Hezbollah does not commit terrorist attacks without approval from Iran. Hezbollah is the proxy of Iran and was created by the terrorist government in Iran. Hezbollah’s goal is the destruction of Israel and to export the Iranian revolution to Lebanon. Iran seeks to create an expansionist Shiite Islamist state in Lebanon that would have the same oppressive policies in Lebanon as it has on its people.

Vice President of the Stop the War coalition is George Galloway, who publicly supports Hezbollah and Fidel Castro.

Galloway said at a demonstration, “Hezbollah is not, nor has it ever been, a terrorist organization.”

He said that Fidel Castro and Hasan Nasrallah, the latter of whom leads Hezbollah, are the real representatives of the Arab people.

Galloway said that Fidel Castro is the living person he admires the most. The same Fidel Castro who destroyed the Cuban economy, killed and tortured many of his citizens and the same man who set up tourist areas that were forbidden to the average Cuban. Fidel’s brother Raul continues the same oppressive policies. his changes are small. He did open up the tourist areas, but made everything there too expensive to the average Cuban. Cuba under the Castro brothers seeks to impose their totalitarian Communist system all over Latin America. Cuba supports Communist terrorists. It started supporting terrorists since the Tri-contental conference. Cuba also supports Palestinian terrorist groups including the Palestine Liberation Organization [PLO].

A member group of the US anti-war movement United for Peace with Justice is the International Solidarity Movement [ISM], which is also the Palestinian solidarity Movement [PSM]. In my last article “ISM, Peace Group of Terrorist Front,” I exposed the NJ Solidarity Movement, which is a member group of the ISM, as a group that rejects Israel’s right to exist and has the PLO bulletin archives, all dated before 1988, when the PLO pretended to recognize Israel’s right to exist and pretended to denounce terrorism. It was when the PLO was an internaitonal terrorist group, committing terrorist attacks on Israel and other countries and even destablized two Arab countries Jordan and Lebanon.

I exposed one the ISM’s founder Adam Shapiro as a self-hating Jew. As I said, he told Lee Karlan, leader and founder of Stop the ISM, that he doesn’t consider himself as a Jew.  Stop the ISM said,”He says he no longer considers himself a Jew, but will gladly represent himself as one if it will help him to destroy Israel.”

Charlotte Kates is the leader of the NJ solidarity movement and expressed support for suicide bombings on Israel.

Andrea Peyser, an NY Post columnist, wrote in that newspaper:

Organizer Charlotte Kates told me peaceful resistance is the fest’s guiding principle. Yet she noted that she, as well as the sponsoring organization, the New Jersey Solidarity Movement – an offshoot of International Solidarity – supports Palestinian homicide bombers.
“Palestinian resistance in all its forms has been a very powerful tool of justice,” said Kates, 23, a Rutgers law student. “All forms, from armed struggle to mass protest.”
And does Israel have a right to exist?

“Israel is an apartheid, colonial settler state. I do not believe apartheid, colonial settler states have a right to exist.”

Leader of United for Peace with Justice is Leslie Cagan. She is a supporter of Fidel Castro. Frontpage magazine  reported:

Yet a February 4 New York Times puff piece benignly heralded Cagan as “one of the grandes dames of the country’s progressive movement,” a woman whose “organizational skills are prodigious.” Predictably, there was no mention that Cagan has consistently lavished praise upon Castro’s Cuba, which she considers a far better place than the United States. During her seven years as director of the Cuba Information Project, she led numerous demonstrations demanding that the US end its economic embargo of, and travel ban to, Cuba. “In the winter of 1969-70,” Cagan fondly recalls, “I spent over two months with the First Venceremos Brigade in Cuba. Just ten years into their revolution, the Cubans had taken control of their history. . . . While we were in Cuba, Fred Hampton and other Chicago Black Panthers were murdered. It was a shocking reminder of the brutality and power of the US government, and there we were in Cuba, a whole nation under attack from the US. As Brigadistas we were taking a risk traveling in defiance of Washington’s travel ban, but we knew the risk was small compared to what Cubans and so many others around the world faced every day.”

In short, Cagan candidly sides with Castro’s Communist regime rather than with the United States, which she deems the world’s foremost terrorist nation. The Venceremos Brigades with which she proudly associated were in fact organized by Castro’s Cuban intelligence agency, which went so far as to train some “brigadistas” in guerrilla warfare techniques, including the use of arms and explosives. Cagan’s pro-Castro rallies were supported by such socialist organizations as Casa de las Americas, the Communist Party, the Socialist Workers Party, the Venceremos Brigades, the Workers World Party, and the Young Socialists. Cagan herself was an original founder of the Committees of Correspondence, a splinter group rooted in the Communist Party USA. Joining the chorus of her fellow leaders in the “peace” movement, she condemns what she calls America’s “daily assaults and attacks on poor and working people, on women, people of color, lesbians/gays and other sexual minorities, the disabled and so many others, [and] such foreign policy matters as . . . military actions and economic sanctions.”

The Stop the War Coalition also refused  to allow Iranian citizens speak at one of their events because that group didn’t want to hear any criticism of Iran’s fascist government.

Cindy Sheehan protested for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. She told Al Jazeera:

If we [America] really want to promote democracy in this region then we cannot silence the voices of the Muslim Brotherhood because they’re the moderate voice here and    they are the ones who are actually working for democracy.

The Muslim Brotherhood opposes democracy. The proof points to the fact that the MB seeks to impose a Nazi-like Islamist state on the whole world. The MB 2007 platform  calls for banning women and Christians form being president and for turning Egypt into an Iranian-style Islamist state.

ANSWER [Stop the war and end Racism] has called for Israel’s destruction. The Party for Socialism and Liberation stated this about an event that calls for the right of return, which was sponsored by ANSWER, Party for Socialism and Liberation and Al-Awda:

A lecture by keynote speaker Dr. Salman Abu Sitta discussed al-Nakba and how to work toward implementing the right of return. Prof. Saree Makdisi and Dr. Ghada Karmi spoke about the necessity and inevitability of a one-state solution for Palestine.
A heated discussion followed, which included many of the participants in the convention.

May 17 began with a number of workshops and discussion topics including “Youth organizing for the return,” “Prisoner campaign” and “Culture and resistance” led by Ziad Abbas from the Dheisha refugee camp, Dr. Anan Odeh, and former L.A. Eight defendant Michel Shehadeh.

ANSWER called for the right of return, which would demographically destroy Israel. Also, ANSWER is publicly Socialist and is among the extreme left in bashing America and its allies including Israel.

ANSWER stated:

What started as an anti-war, anti-imperialist protest, escalated into a battle to defend many progressive issues—stopping the war and threats against Iran; defending the Palestinian struggle; defending women’s and same-sex marriage rights; and demanding equality for immigrants.

It supports the Palestinian terrorist struggle against Israel [I'm not saying all Palestinians are terrorists or seek the destruction of Israel, but destroying Israel is the goal of all Palestinian terrorists].

It calls on stopping “the war and threats against Iran” despite the fact that Iran is a threat to us [the west including America], but not the other way around. Immigrants have equal rights. Homosexuals have equal rights in Israel, while the Palestinian Homosexuals get lynched and hide in Israel. An Islamist victory will result in homosexuals and anyone who leaves Islam getting killed and/or arrested. Homosexuals are killed and/or arrested in Arab and Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia and Iran. Stop the War Coalition defends Russia’s invasion of Georgia, bashing America while defending Russia’s aggression and also blaming Georgia. Howard Zinn is a prominent voice in the anti-war movement. As I stated, “He talks about the alleged atrocities of the Contras freedom fighters, while not making any mention of the Sandinista tyranny and atrocities.” The NJ Solidarity Movement claimed that the Sandinistas fought for democracy, in the PLO bulletin archive. The Sandinistas, like the Castro regime, also supported Communist terrorists and the PLO. Some Sandinista members left that group because the Sandinistas set up a Communist dictatorship. The anti-war movement is, as I said, an extreme leftist Islamist front in the propaganda war against America and Israel. The anti-war movement bashes America and its allies including Israel, while it supports America’s totalitarian enemies. Even George Galloway, who protested Saddam in the 1980’s, has said to him that he expressed his “heartfelt greetings and support.” The anti-war movement is silent about Saddam’s atrocities while bashing America. The only time anti-war activists speak out against Saddam is when giving the US government a hard time about supporting Saddam in the 1980’s against the Iranian regime, which was [and is] far worse than Saddam ever was. War is a horrible thing, though sometimes justified to fight forces seeking your destruction.  The anti-war movement defends America’s totalitarian enemies such as brutal Communist regimes in Latin America and even Islamists. They claim to be for peace, but are really out to bash America and its allies including Israel. It gives comfort and support to terrorists.
