The Dangers of Global Warming
The ways of counteracting Global Warming and its dangers.
Global warming is caused by chlorofluorocarbons, aptly known as CFCs. These CFCs are generated from aerosols, refrigerants and combustion of plastics, styros, leaves, and other organic matters. They modify the ozone layer, and as a result, harmful rays enter the Earth. This intensifies the average temperature here on Earth. In retrospect, there have been people dying because of the intense heat. In addition to this, the ice caps of the polar region could melt, and as a consequence, the sea level rises enormously.
In retrospect, there have been countries, like the US, that held campaigns to reduce the emission of CFCs. And we, as good citizens should also help in our own little ways. We should recycle plastics or, as an alternative, we could use the new biodegradable ones which are environmentally friendly. At the same time we should use leaves as natural fertilizers. Also, we must refrain from using aerosols and refrigerants if not necessary.
Global warming is one menace to our environment that we should not ignore. Failing to counteract it may jeopardize life on Earth, creating an utterly stupendous flood. And the proper time for doing this counteraction is now.
