The Nigerian Child Today

On the plight of the Nigerian child. It highlights the efforts that have been made to better the lot of the Nigerian child. It is more or less an attempt to draw the attention of the world to the bad situation.

To succeed, the Nigeria Child requires a solid foundation to be laid by parents and family – the basic unit of the society. They are to strike the iron while it is hot. It is their duty to inculcate desirable qualities and etiquette in the child, and live by example. Dereliction of this duty puts the society in chaos.

The Nigerian Children’s parliament, consisting the upper house (senate) and lower house(house of representatives), should be a recognized body having a national identity. Members of the house should meet, discuss and proffer solutions to regularly to the needs and views of children from their respective states. By doing so they will be the voice of the Nigerian Child and provide an avenue for children and youth participation in governance. These sittings should aired in English and vernacular if possible.

As for my fellow children or youths, the best is yet to come. Your tomorrow is not far and it depends on what you do with your present not your past. Let us try in our own little way to make sure Nigeria survives. Review your past implement your present, and face the future, putting God first.

Nigeria please consider the child as an archive of our history, a beneficiary of today, and most important our tomorrow.

Let us make it happen.

Dear Adaoma, the situation in Uganda is not different. Thats why i have created a group on face book called plighted start. Its a group that works to make sure that child hood plight is eradicated. I have also written me a book on this subject. Find it on http://www.plightedstart.50webs.com

Please search for Muwonge Denis Gadfly on face book.

Human Rights must be fully established as a priority before you can hope to secure economic Justice. I challenge your attitudes in that you are only interested in your own family and friends….what if I asked you about your concerns for the least amongst you? How would you treat them? For example how would you treat a gay Nigerian?
