Think Green

Our planet is beautiful and very rich with natural resources. It is our responsibility to help make it clean and preserve its natural resources. We need to do our share to conserve our natural resources and to take responsibility to save our future.

Our environment was created by God beautifully. It is also rich in natural resources. In the past it was pure, clean and green. The water was clear. The land was full of trees. They are tall and robust. The air was fresh and clean. Now all these wonderful things have disappeared because of our negligence. Many people do not know how to take good care of these gifts. We have been cruel to the environment. We are aware that some people engage in activities that bring so much harm to our environment. We cut down trees and throw garbage in the bodies of water. We built factories and vehicles that caused air to be polluted.

Here are some of the things that happen around us concerning our environment and natural resources.

  1. Loss of rain forest because of deforestation.
  2. Loss of rich flora and fauna found in our forest.
  3. Increase in the number of poisoned rivers and lakes because of pollution from pesticides, petroleum products as well as human and animal waste.
  4. Loss of fertile soil because of our deforestation and chemicals used in agriculture and farming.
  5. Massive air pollution because of industrial factories and vehicles that omit or discharge air pollutants and fumes.

All of us have the responsibility to keep our environment clean and green. Clean and green programs like planting and watering the plants, stopping illegal loggers and actively participating in environmental projects is an easy thing to do. We can also help make our surroundings clean by practicing the 3R’s which are reduce, reuse and recycle.

Reduce means to lessen the amount of items or resources that are consumed. An example is turning off the lights when not in use. Recycle means to process old, used items in order that the material can be used to make new products. Examples of things that can be recycled are glass, newspaper and telephone directories. Reuse means extending the life of an item rather than discarding or throwing it away. Things that can be reuse are plastic, old clothing, empty bottles and cans.

Other simple things such as disposing the garbage properly, reporting smoke belching vehicles or simply following signs like “No Smoking” and “No Littering” as easy task that we could practice daily.

Our planet is beautiful and very rich with natural resources. It is our responsibility to help make it clean and preserve its natural resources. We need to do our share to conserve our natural resources and to take responsibility to save our future. They are our life, if they will be gone, we will be gone, too.

    Hello
I have set up a petition on the Number 10 Epetition website. It is a challenge to all polititians : PROVE ME WRONG. If you agree with the two statements below please use the link provided to sign up. If you dont believe it please just put ‘the emperor wears no clothes’ into google read the evidence and make an informed decision.

    1. The hemp legislation enforced in the world today, and since the 1930’s, has caused more death, destruction and environmental damage than any decision by any politition or humanbeing in history.
    2. Putting hemp BACK in its rightful position as humanities number one crop, raw material, fuel, food, and medicine ( as it had been since pre-histiry and in parts since the dawn of mankind), has the very real and possible potential of not just slowing down global warming, but actually REVERSING IT!!!

But how? You ask. Well for a start it is one of the worlds fastest growing plants and produces more fibre, seed/oil, cellulose than any other crop and its a green manure, so it actually puts goodness back into the soil, and needs no fertiliser or pesticide. In 1941 Henry Ford had IN PRODUCTION the worlds first ‘alcohol engined’ eco car; its bodywork, dashboard, seat covers, plastic fittings etc, wre made from hemp and it ran on methanol from hemp. It is the only single plant food source that a humanbeing can live on -indefinitely- and contains all the essential omega’s in the perfect ratio for us!

Too good to be true? Or too good for the oil industry, pharmaceuticals and agro-chemicals, not to want to misinform about, conceal and scapegoat.

Politicians and others in power refuse to address this issue with anything even approaching, honest, informed, rational and balanced intentions and debate. Due to this, it is my intention to continue feeding the birds, best quality cannabis sativa – hemp seed – wherever I go, and to continue to give bags of the seeds to anyone who wants them, to do with them as they will.
    Yours Mark A. Chapman
