Urinating in a Shower Tab is a Water Conservation Measure for The 21st Century

The way to go is to start saving domestic water by urinating in a shower tab during shower time.

In an era when water is increasingly becoming a very scarce resource around which major wars are likely to be fought in the next of the century, urinating in the shower tabs is now being highly recommended as a way to save on water wastage.

Domestic based water conservationists and researchers now believe, urinating in the shower tabs during a bath and rinsing it up with detergence during the course of the shower would save a lot of water on a daily basis in homes. An average flash toilet drains upto 20 litres in a single flash! In African homes where average family members go upto 6-7 people per house hold, urinating in a toilet and following it up with a flash would mean wasting upto 250 litres of water a day if all the members went on a flash twice a day on urine alone. This is a lot of water wasted away to urine alone. A lot more would be wasted if each member visited the toilet once to defecate!

I want to believe that this expert advice that we should forth with, start urinating in the shower tabs during a bath is not so weird after all. Infact, it is most timely considering the rising cost of urban water treatment and the potential global water stress we appear to be headed to today. So, start urinating in your bath, after all, some people were already doing just that long before we had this looming water crises threat.
