We the People
Can we, as Americans, get together to improve our economy and infrastructure?
My personal feelings and belief is that we absolutely can. First, we need to completely rewrite our tax laws according to my tax plan expressed in other blogs. Second, initiate the “Solar Plan” I have also blogged about. By doing these two things alone, we can stabilize our power grid in key locations and make everyone equal in the tax laws.
Funding from the excess power generated by my solar plan could be sent to the highway trust fund initially. Then as more capacity is added over time some funding could be diverted to a trust fund specifically targeted to health care and geriatric programs. We as a people in the USA could get this established very quickly if our elected officials were involved.
Quality of life can be improved exponentially by implementing these two plans expressed above and in my blogs previously published. One individual alone can not accomplish this but many speaking as one could get these accomplished easily. “We the People”, should we decide to get involved, could start a new economic escalation in our lives by letting our elected officials both nationally and locally know how we feel toward this application of factors.
Look at the local roads, bridges, and interstate highways in our nation today. What we see are decaying structures and highways in dire need of repair or replacement. As most know, this is simply due as usage over time has taken its toll. However, by adding the additional funding described here we can forestall any further decay and improve the existing roads, bridges, and highways as needed.
Are we Americans so tolerant to the status quo that we simply dont see? Can anyone pick up the banner that states that America is not going to be relinquished into a power class only society? Is it possible that some of us Americans will pull together and demand that our decisions be honored and validated by making the USA the land of opportunity again? Can “We the People” do more to make our elected officials accountable to what they are actually doing as opposed to what they say they are doing?
America wake up! Look into the light of day and see what is happening around you.
Let us start a grassroots movement to improve our country and society as a whole!

You have some great ideas. We need a plan and let’s hope it can be put in place while there is still time. By the way, are you sure you are not my son? You sound just like him. Best of luck with all your plans. Take care, Ruby

Thanks you for your feedback. I do have hope that the America I knew will come back strong and better than before.

I totally agree with you (though I have to check out your Solar plan in other articles – I see it as ‘the solution’ too). If there was one thing I could get rid of in this world, it is apathy. People need to wake up and give a damn. Excellent article.
