Have we become sheep who are being led to the slaughter? Have we become so complacent that we are allowing our federal representatives do as they please? The answer is YES!!!What became of our constitution that states: “of the people, by the people and for the people”.

Our federal representatives are supposed to be representing the people, but they are only representing some of the people. THE RICH!!! This country has become “of the rich, for the rich, by the rich”. When are we going to make it stop?

Our government has made it possible for our children and grandchildren to pay back a debt that may pass on to the great-grandchildren. This is not change. This is highway robbery. People are losing their jobs, families are suffering. Only the rich are making it. They haven’t lost as much as those who work hard for a living. You don’t see the wealthy doling out their money to help those who are in need.

Our representatives DO NOT have their constituents good in mind. They worry about how the lobbyists are going to react to the way they vote. This means campaign funds in their pockets. Our representatives worry about voting for their own pay raises. This is WRONG!!

The working class in our country work anywhere from five to seven days a week, just to support their families. Our federal representatives work when they want. They don’t have set work schedules. They need to be attending to business. They should not be paid for the time they are not attending to the peoples’ business. All federal representatives should receive an hourly wage, not a salary. They should be made to work 40-50 hours a week. They should be made to understand what it is to live on a working man’s wages.

Our government representatives are getting fat on the sweat of the little man’s brow. WE MUST STOP THIS!!!!
