Why Should We Save the Tropical Rain Forests
The rain forest is possibly the most diverse environment in the world it contains 90% of the world animal and plant life and has weather that changes rapidly. But every minute acres of this forest are being cut down.
Another reason for deforestation is mining, the Amazon rainforest has tin, aluminum and other metals buried in it. Great amounts of the forest are cleared to make room for mining they then dig which makes that land basically unsuitable for plant life to grow again. Mining doesn’t only affect the are that is being mined, a way of mining is to get hoses and blast away at the earth the earth is washed away into a near river sometime chemicals are used as well and it will pollute the river, But it won’t only be the animals in the river that are effected by the chemicals animals would drink from the river, they might eat the fish from the river and they will get ill as well, and if they died another animal may eat them and so the chemical may well pass up the food chain. But going back to the earth being washed into the river , it may clog smaller rivers and cause the water to become shallower as it settles on the bottom. Also if there is a lot of earth in the river it will become murky so some animals will find it hard to catch food and will starve or find it harder to live. Also they wont have a clean drinking water supply.
So in conclusion I think that these countries should just drop the debt and then Brazil could re establish its other trades and leave the rainforest to grow. At the moment we are losing 137 species of plants, animals and insects each year, some of those plants could be a cure for a disease such as cancer. So Brazil could spend there time finding out about these plants and sell them to make money instead of destroying the rainforest. So if they can lose the debt they can make the rainforest a conservation site and protect so that we don’t lose it and the animals, plants and insects forever.

This is a very interesting information and I personaly didn’t think that there is a big amount of trees being cut down. Why did Brazil have such a big loan from MEDC countries.

may i ask how acurate is your statistic of how many species are wiped out each year, as i read somewhere it is actually 27000. just wondering which one is factually correct. otherwise helpful article. thanks, it is great to see someone passionate about a worthy cause. i completly support the motion to stop logging rainforests.

Well why?
Because Small parts of Cut down rainforest can provide lots of palm trees & palm trees provide Palm oil.
Palm oil is in nearley everything from Cookies to shower gel.
Without palm oil We wouldent have all the luxuaries we have today.
We want too keep parts of the rainforest For wild life and tribes but We just need a little bit to keep giving YOU the stuff you demand for!!

Our rainforest is falling apart. And if you were well educated you would know. we need trees to live. So why destroy it to keep mac donalds dissesed cows in why not save it and let the tribes live the life they always wannted as they have so little. If you think about it we live a life of luxury so why dont we give something back.
