10 Amazing Reasons to be Happy
When you feel down or depressed it can be difficult to think of reasons to be happy. Here you will find 10 amazing reasons to be happy. Some of these reasons may not directly apply to you, but I am sure you will find at least one reason to be happy from this list.
When you feel down or depressed it can be difficult to think of reasons to be happy. Here you will find 10 amazing reasons to be happy. Some of these reasons may not directly apply to you, but i am sure you will find at least one reason to be happy from this list.

Being happy is an art in my opinion. Some people may agree with me, other people may not. Can a person ever say that they are truly happy? Or do we just accept our lives and draw on the good parts of it? For some, reminders are good. They need to be reminded about the things that do make them happy and some of them are listed below.
1. You Can Have A Better Day Than Yesterday, And Maybe A Better Day Than Today Tomorrow:
If you try and aim for every day to be better than the last, it will increase your self esteem and confidence, which are vital to being happier. You do not have to do the most amazing things every day but just in yourself if you feel that today is better than yesterday then you will feel happy and satisfied.
2. You Are Who You Are:
Nobody can change the person you have been made to be, or have grown up to be. To a point, not even you can change who you are. By accepting who you are and acknowledging your good qualities you will feel self content.
3. You Have Fantastic Friends:
It is true that family are important in a persons life, but friends can be at times equally important. When, in your heart, you know you have fantastic friends it can make a huge difference.

4. You Have A Family That Love You:
Blood is much thicker than water and no matter what life throws at a family, you should be able to remain together because you are connected. Sometimes this is not always possible, but knowing that you have a family that love you will increase your opinion of yourself.
5. You Are Alive:
Too many people take their life for granted because too many people out there die of terrible diseases and illnesses and in the most horrific ways. When you remember that you are alive and you are lucky to be then this can give you a boost which results in happiness.
6. Live In The Here And Now:
Do not ruminate over things that you have done or things that have happened in the past. On the same note, there is no point worrying about the future. What will happen will happen. Try to live in the here and now because after all that is all that matters.
7. You Are Creative:
Some people are born creative while others develop their creative skills. In my opinion everyone can develop creative skills with effort. When things are not going well or you start to question what you are good at, remember that you are unique and you have creative skills.
8. Life Is A Beautiful Game Of Winning And Losing:
I bet you have heard the saying you win some, you lose some right? Well, life is very much like that as well in my opinion. However life is beautiful and we should accept that we will win some and we will lose some. That is half of the appeal of life.
9. Let The Sun Start A Bright New Day For You:
There is nothing better than waking up and seeing the sun in the sky. That alone can put a smile on your face and for some they have a better day when the sun shines.

10. Look At Everything You Have And Be Happy:
If you still cannot find anything to be happy about you can always look around at everything you have and think how lucky you are. Some people have less than others, but we all have something that nobody else can match.
It would be a misconception to think that you should be happy all of the time, because that is near impossible, however when things are looking bad or down, there are things that can make you happy.

Great article! Shakespeare said there’s nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so. It’s so true!

Useful tips, many people need them.
For me, the idea that I am alive and that future will surely bring something nice for me too is enough to keep me happy most of the time. Apart form that I suffer from depressions and at those times, nothing can help me as it is irrational state of the mind with no reasoning behind it (at least in my case).

Due to their psychological make-up human beings will need several things uniquely put in place before they will truly experience contentedness and human happiness, however, I think your points are interesting and well taken.

In the end, it all boils down to your choice…to be happy or not. We can have everything and still be unhappy. I think part of being happy is learning to be contented with the blessings you have now.
