11 Steps to Get Over Depression
Try these.
- Buy a puppy. (It will care for you as much as you care for it.)
- Get a girlfriend/ boyfriend. (Being in a relationship generally brings up the mood of slightly depressed people.)
- Take up different hobbies. (fishing, model making, rock collecting, animal husbandry, etc. xD)
- Rent and watch a bunch of comedy movies. (Role Models, Superbad, Tropic Thunder, etc.)
- Get involved in your community. (Help your neighbors, when they are happy you should feel happy.)
- Work on your house so you have something nice to come home to. (Clean, reorganize, paint, etc.)
- Listen to inspiring music. (Upbeat, possibly romancy songs that will get you in a good mood.)
- Hang out with upbeat friends. (Generally, you act like the friends you hang out with so they might be the problem.)
- Look at the bright sides of every situation. (When one door closes, two doors open.)
- Stay occupied. (It will keep your mind off of it.)
