11 Steps to Get Over Depression

Try these.

  1. Buy a puppy. (It will care for you as much as you care for it.)
  2. Get a girlfriend/ boyfriend. (Being in a relationship generally brings up the mood of slightly depressed people.)
  3. Take up different hobbies. (fishing, model making, rock collecting, animal husbandry, etc. xD)
  4. Rent and watch a bunch of comedy movies. (Role Models, Superbad, Tropic Thunder, etc.)
  5. Get involved in your community. (Help your neighbors, when they are happy you should feel happy.)
  6. Work on your house so you have something nice to come home to. (Clean, reorganize, paint, etc.)
  7. Listen to inspiring music. (Upbeat, possibly romancy songs that will get you in a good mood.)
  8. Hang out with upbeat friends. (Generally, you act like the friends you hang out with so they might be the problem.)
  9. Look at the bright sides of every situation. (When one door closes, two doors open.)
  10. Stay occupied. (It will keep your mind off of it.)
  11. First see this video. And buy this.  (Don’t Worry, Be Happy.)
