18 Secrets to a Good Night’s Sleep
Stressed out late at night? Seriously cranky in the morning? Take these tips and you’ll be bouncing into bed with a smile and waking up even happier.

- Make sure everything you need for the next day is already prepared.
- Exfoliate using your favorite scented shower scrub when you take your before-bedtime shower. If you’ve got more time o your hands, soak in the tub for a few minutes.
- Use an anti-stress or Sleep Ease lotion to moisturize your skin after taking your shower.
- Expose your face to steam (you can do this while boiling water) for a few minutes to allow your pores to open up.
- Put on your favorite facial mask for 10-15 minutes and wash it off with cold water, so that your pores close up. Finish off your DIY facial by applying some moisturizing lotion.
- Take of those icky black-heads with a pore strip.
- Apply sleeping gel on your sleeping points: the center f your forehead, the back of your neck, and on your lower abdomen and right below your navel.
- Place two chamomile tea bags in hot water and make sure they’re semi-dry. Place the tea bags over your eyes for 10 minutes. If you don’t have tea bags, you could do this with cucumber slices.
- Light an aromatherapy candle or an incense stick (chamomile is especially relaxing.
- Put a face, eye or eyelid mask in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes, so that the gel inside the mask cools and hardens. Lie down with the mask on for 10 minutes.
- Nourish your hands and digits with hand lotion.
- Give yourself a refreshing foot massage.
- Wear your favorite pajamas to bed.
- Text your best friend/love ones a sweet, good night!
- Write five reasons to be thankful for today in your blog/ journal. Say a prayer.
- Cuddle next to your favorite stuffed toy or pillow.
- Prepare an ultra-yummy breakfast meal so you look forward to major chow time tomorrow!
- Think happy thoughts before going to bed. You’ll be more likely to wake up chipper.

Some of these things, I already do. But putting tea bags on your eyes hmmn. I always like to wash my face before going to bed ,instead of looking gross from the makup in the morning. But , you do have you good tips, I will keep in mind.

I usually say a prayer before sleeping, works better than journaling for me, sometimes too lazy to get off the makeup but its true subtle essencesand a warm bath do make you sleepy, could I also add that a warm glass of milk puts you right off to sleep.
