20 Simple Ways to Deal and Clear Interview Without Stress

Here are some tips to clear the Interview, without stress and without getting panic.

Many candidates take “stress” during a job interview, and due to this you blow off in interview, so following are tips to deal with Interview stress and how can you make your interview clear.

1.      Keep your cool.

2.      Time is everything, so be 10 minutes prior to the interview schedule.

3.      Don’t underestimate yourself, by looking at the crowd around you.

4.      Do revision in front of mirror, this way you gain confidence, just before going in.

5.      Dress formal, be prepared in advance don’t keep it pending for last moment, as presentation does matters, put a light fragrance perfume, select your shoes and keep it polished.

6.      Keep the address, land mark, way to go details handy, position for which your profile is been short listed, the url of the company and a mail confirmation of your interview scheduled along with the time, date and the contact person.

7.      Keep your documents or testimonials organized, don’t do it front of the interviewer; it will not give a good impression.

8.      Breathe deep, drink water.

9.      Imagine yourself handling the interview nicely, you will feel confident to face any challenge coming your way.

10. Always say to yourself “I CAN DO IT”, when you say this, it will get feed in your unconscious mind, and your conscious mind will make you strong from inside, you will not feel nervous.

11. Be prepared for some obvious questions like:-

  • Tell me some thing about yourself? Answer it with your educational background, start with the first company to the current company, talk about your achievements.
  • What is your current cost to company p.a, what are you expecting?
  • Reason of change?
  • What is your lead time to join?
  • What do you know about our organization? Visit the URL of the company, before you to the interview.

12. During the interview relax and listen to the questions properly, answer the questions by thinking and talk slowly by this technique you will get time to think and answer.

13. Never talk wrong about your current boss, always talk good about him or her.

14. Sell yourself, let the interviewer know, how they are benefited by recruiting you.

15. Body language is important, don’t cross your legs, sit straight.

16. Have an eye contact, while answering; sometime they keep one guy in panel silent who will just observe you, the way you present.

17. Don’t show on your face if you are nervous also.

18. Focus on your interview, don’t get panic.

19. At the end if asked do you want to ask anything, do ask a question, for e.g., what is the turnover of the company?

20. Once the interview is done mark a mail to the HR regarding the feedback.
