A Few Very Useful Tips

Things everyone can do in their daily life that will make a nice difference.

Here are a few little tips I found so useful and so effective. I would like to share them with you!

  1. If you are not a great fan of tofu and find it a bit too bland, but still do not want to miss the goodness of this very healthy food, try this: cut the tofu into 2cm cubes, freeze the cubes. Add the frozen cubes straight from your freezer into your hotpot or casserole just 5 minutes before finishing time. Tofu becomes a lot more pores when frozen so the cubes absorb the tasty juice like sponges. You will enjoy it a lot more and your hot dishes are enriched with one more healthy ingredient. It is so versatile you can almost do it with anything. Just remember do not cook tofu with spinach! As it will create a substance hard to digest.
  2. After cooking your rice, scoop a little bit out and roll it between your palms to form a little rice ball. When it is warm (but not scalding!), roll it across your washed face. This is a great natural way to deep clean your face. The stickiness will get the dirt and grease out of your pores which open under the warmth of the rice. In the meantime your skin benefits from the wonderful nutrients of the rice. It’s natural, it’s cheap and it’s so effective!
  3. If you are trying to lose some weight, here is a simple and healthy way to do it. And it is easy to follow. All you need to do is: a. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into 1 litre of water and store it in fridge.  b. Try to drink 3 litres of this lemon water every day for 7 days. Lemon is great source of vitamin C and it cleanses your system effectively. Drinking the lemon water from time to time during the day will make you feel fuller so you do not crave for food as much. c. On top of this you just 15 minutes of exercise every day. You do not have to finish the 15 minutes all at once. A week of this practice should see you lose 7-12 pounds! If you are not suffering from excessive heart burn, give this a try!
