A Healthy Holiday
Steps for you to have a healthy holiday.
There is nothing like a getaway, for a week, to help feel relaxed, and, look better, so make the most of your me-time with steps to follow.
With all the stresses, and, strains of everyday life- not to mention, the unpredictable weather, that annual week or two, spent in the sun can be like salvation for the soul.
It can be tempting to really let your hair down, you don’t want to spend the rest of your precious, hard-earned holiday regretting it. So it is important to look after yoursel, f to reap the full benefits of your time away. For staying fit, and, well making the most of your break. Keep drinking, although there is nothing better than a cool gin and tonic, when you are lying by the pool, remember that alcohol is dehydrating, especially in hot weather. Make sure you drink at least two litres of water a day, to keep hydrated and always choose bottled water when you are abroad to stay on the safe side.
Be sun-safe, don’t let sunburn ruin your break, pack plenty of suncream. Keep mosquitoes away, by wearing lose -fitting long trousers and long sleeves in the evenings, as mosquitoes can bite through tight clothing and tend to be most active at this time.
Be like a local, holidays are an opportunity to eat lighter and healthier meals. Make the most of the local drink and food. Pack pain relief. Take a small first- aid kit, with plasters, insect repellent, and, paracetamol.
Be prepared when on holiday, you will enjoy your getaway with relief.
