Acts of Random Kindness Ltd: An Irish Start Up That’s Changing The World

“Ark° is being worn in over 29 countries around the world. Every time that t-shirt is put on, someone gets their day made by a complete stranger. The story is spreading. It’s getting exciting. Yeah things are tough, but we’ve come so far in such a short time and it’s not looking like we’re going to be stopping any time soon.”

He says on the company’s blog, an eclectic collection of uplifting posts and interesting theorizing on the concept of a non-profit business and its world-improvement aims. This is the base of Ark’s appeal, the thought that has gone into it. Ark is an idealist who has succeeded in making his mark on the world. It’s a sign of hope for young people that this can be done. A great idea can become a reality, we can move towards our utopia in firm, confident steps.

            This is the message Ark is spreading, and they’re spreading it to young people too, in one of the most exciting Big Arks yet. The team have already visited Fourth Year groups around the country to encourage them in giving back to their communities in a typically kind and random way. It seems Ark is making kind cool, and all the better. These days kindness is what we need to fall back on. When excess has been wasted away, the most important resources we have left are the human ones, and what better way to celebrate this than to be good to each other, and spread the love?
