Advice for Summer

Another short summer is arriving, and I want you to enjoy it to the max.

Yes, my friends; summer will be arriving shortly.  And it is so short, and so sweet; and I want you to enjoy it so much.  So, I have some tips I want to share with you regarding summer.  First, summer is not winter.  That may sound elementary, but if you don’t take my advice on this one, you can not enjoy the sun of summer. Summer is not winter.  So put away your skates and snowboards and sleds.  Don’t think of them at all for four months.  This may be difficult when hockey is still being played  until June.  But it must be done.  Another thing I would do is put away my parka.  Who needs it in July?

My next piece of advice is regarding excercise.  Around this time of year I start practicing looking out from the corner of my eyes.  This hurts at first, but continual practice will ease the pain.  You will need to perfect this technique for your travels to the beach.  Yes, that’s right.  You will be sitting on the beach with your wife or girlfriend, pretending to read a magazine or book; but in reality you are looking at all the attractive young ladies from the corners of your eyes.  Be sure to wear sunglasses when embarking on this dangerous course of action.  Remember: If you are ever caught, you will be cast into the doghouse for a substancial period of time.
