Are We Losing The Ability to Enjoy Life?
Today, we feel stressed, anxious and nervous. Why is this? What happened to both of us so frantic and anxious to do everything?
With more time-saving gadgets around than ever, why is that many of us still complain that we do not have time to enjoy life?
We all need to slow down. Really slow. This situation is difficult for many of us. Even if you have a quiet moment, we are busy planning what to do next time, next day and the following year. Basically, we do not live in the moment. And thus we can not enjoy life in all that we can.
Our moments of joy are few and far between. We do not laugh as often as they should and some of us even forget to smile! We’re simply too busy. Maybe you’d better realize the truth. This will never be able to finish everything. You can never do. There is always something new that require our attention.
Perhaps we keep busy to avoid it. I do not think about what really matters in life. Because life is so short, we become too busy to even enjoy it. It takes time to learn to live now. To be fully aware and present to each moment.
Begin by walking slowly. This will reduce the speed of thought. Speak slowly. Focus your attention on one thing to do together until the task is completed. If you are worried, booked 20 minutes per week to worry. Then do something else to fear.
