Are You Placing Your Order with the Universal Energy?

You might think that’s a strange question for me to ask.

The reason for it is that many people say they want to be healthy, rich, have better relationships, but they don’t ever do anything about it.

If you wanted to take a trip you would determine where you wanted to go. You would decide the best route to drive, fill your car with gas and pack a bag.

Then you would actually get in the car, start it, put the car in drive and move in the direction of your goal. You wouldn’t turn around a few minutes later and complain that you hadn’t arrived yet.

That would be silly. You would continue driving until you pulled into the drive way of your destination.

So many people don’t take the trip. They say they want a different life. Dreams and intentions are lifted high, but little or no action is taken to get them to where they say they want to go.

These are generally the people who spend hundreds of dollars on self help books, movies, coaching, doctors and yet never change a single thing in their life.

See, in order for something to change, you have to change something. There’s a saying that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing the same way, expecting a different result.

Now repetition works great for learning music, getting better at sports and memorizing math facts, but it’s falls short in changing the situations of your life.

In order for your life to be different than what it is, you have to do something different or shift how you are doing it.

The first thing is to understand what it is you want. We all want to be rich, but few realize this goal. The reason is it’s too general. Be specific about what you want and why you want it. Money is something that everyone says they want more of, but when you look more deeply you realize it’s really about more than the money itself.

People want money to live more easily, paying bills on time, having plenty of good food to eat, nice clothes to wear. They want to drive a new car, live in a beautiful home, send their children to top notch schools. Money also allows travel, helping out others and making a difference in the world.

See, it’s about more than the money. Get clear about what it is you really want. You will not make much progress until you do this step.
