Assuming a Position You Dont Fit Into

A little talk about people who say they are something they aren’t.

Hello, today I am going to talk about becoming someone you aren’t.

I know several people who say that they are emo, not because their life is bad, not because they hate themselves, but just because they can do one of two things. One, scare people away. Two, fit into a group they feel is popular. Most people choose the second option, for obvious reasons. And this kind of bugs me.

Maybe some people don’t like who they are, so they hide eveything that could potentially be very appealing to a lot of people, they probably don’t realize this so they continue on the rediculus path. Some people assume possitions so they can get a date, which honestly, is stupid. If you like someone just by their cover, well, good for you, but if he/she wouldn’t bother to TALK to you before you turned <place role here>, why would he/she bother when you were a <place role here>? I think people should accept you for who you are and work around differences, other then forcing you to assume a role you honestly aren’t. I know I’m useing the word “honestly” a lot, but honestly!

So I will end this rather long and honest article just to say, stick to who you are, not what other people are, if someone looks you over because you do a certain thing a different what, then that person is kind of a jerk!
