Avoiding Stress

by Sliwowski in Advice, October 25, 2008

Avoiding one of the worst things in life.

Nobody likes being under stress. Stress occurs when something in life is going wrong, and you react to it emotionally and physically. Symptoms include irritability, muscular tension, and inability to concentrate. The after-affects are headaches, being physically weak and too lazy to do anything.

To avoid stress, follow these 4 tips!

  • Never procrastinate. Procrastinating is leaving things off to the last minute. To avoid procrastinating, always do your projects earlier. For example, if a school project is due on November 1st, and it is October 13th, you should finish it by the 25th of Ocotber to enjoy your free time and refrain from stress.
  • Don’t start or be included in any arguments. Being in a fighting mood, you will notice more and more stress being put on your shoulders. To avoid arguments, go to a quiet room and relax until the quarel is over.
  • Don’t listen to any loud or obnoxious music. These types of music usually provoke anger and violence. Listen to calm and soothing music instead. I suggest artists like Rod Stewart or Jack Johnson.
  • Take a day off from work. Everyone is tired at work throughout the week, therefore everyone should take at least one day off a week. Results have it that people are more active, lively, and stress free after taking a day off from work.

On the holidays, enjoy a dinner or a pinic with friends and family. Most of all, enjoy your life because everyone knows, we don’t live forever!

Great article, I believe that it is very wrong to leave off what needs to be done.
